MEET THE TEAM
Hi, I’m Brenna.
I grew up in a small town in Carthage, NC. I have 4 personal dogs, each bringing their own unique personalities to our family showing us the joy in life.
I grew up in the country always around horse barns, taking naps with the barn dogs, around farm animals, and particularly hunting and working breed dogs. From my earliest memory my interest in working with them became a core part of my life.
When I wasn’t riding horses, or cleaning the chicken coop, I spent my time doing agility, obedience and basic handler courses as a kid with my lab, and eventually handled a few other dogs for their owners in agility.
Life happened and I joined the Army right out of highschool. I spent 8 years as a 92R Parachute Rigger where I spent time in 5th SFG, a SMU , and 725 BSB, where my family and I decided to take roots here in Alaska.
When I left the Military, my husband and I started our dream of having a Homestead and raising our kids to embrace and value hard work. This allowed me to start investing in building a better and healthier working relationship with my personal dogs.
I worked with and saw the ugly side of the dog training/sport world. It became very discouraging, but only made me more determined to keep going.
I decided to seek higher education (seminars, conferences, in person/online courses etc) from reputable sources and put in the work to be better for my dogs, understanding dog behavior and my love of training!
This knowledge and education allowed me to start my own Training and Boarding business in my local community in Alaska.
My Husband, two kids and I are all involved and love to share in the progress of each dog and their journey. We are thrilled to be a part of it!
I love to teach, work, and grow with people willing to learn and build lasting relationships with their dogs. There are countless ways to train and build up your dogs potential. Advocating for your dog by seeking training is the best place to start. Let’s start that journey and tailor it to your expectations and daily life goals!
